Seeking to protect healthcare and access to Planned Parenthood services for millions, local citizens (CLICK to see photos) joined others in Washington D.C. yesterday to have their voices heard. The stories of individuals who's lives were changed and/or protected by access to services provided by Planned Parenthood, and treatment afforded them by Medicaid and the ACA, strengthened the commitment of those present to fight the cruel GOP bills currently in the Senate to repeal the ACA, defund Planned Parenthood, and gut Medicaid Program. Numerous members of the Senate and House of Representatives urged the crowd to keep up the pressure on Republican Senators to VOTE NO on any effort to repeal the ACA. They admonished that "the next thirty-six hours are CRITICAL...don't let up...keep calling...your efforts are working! Call as many Republican Senators as you can...
