A weekend encampment in Conestoga sponsored by Lancaster Against Pipelines, included a day of trainings, silk screening, music, good food, and vernal enjoyment. At the same time, commitment, unity and camaraderie were built for the days ahead, when hundreds will gather to protect the land and its people from the reckless endangerment proposed by those who would defile the land, tunnel under the river, threatening those who depend on both--all to garner profits from fossil fuel products that will ultimately be used overseas. The good will and commitment to an important and honorable cause was palpable among those present!
