At it's first gathering since the defeat of the Senate Healthcare bill, Harrisburg Tuesdays with Toomey affirmed its commitment to continuing to make its presence known! Many individuals spoke today...all agreeing on the importance of a consistent presence at Senator Toomey's Harrisburg Office. The group will continue to gather on Tuesdays and urge Senator Toomey to hold REAL town hall meetings, and begin representing his constituents, rather than the special interests that will benefit by the skewed tax cuts he has continued to support. The group will encourage outreach to others who want to make representative democracy great again...and will start making its presence known to those in the State Capitol Building who insist on serving special interests rather than the people of our Commonwealth!
