So much--and so many--depend on our success in this push! All that hard work we did throughout the summer to protect American's healthcare through the ACA and Medicaid is coming down to the wire. We had great successes, but they will be moot if we can't mobilize to kill TrumpCare in its latest iteration--the Graham-Cassidy bill. After September 30th, more than 60 votes will be needed to repeal the ACA as opposed to the current threshold of 50 plus Vice President Pence. Needless to say, Senate Republicans are pushing hard to squeeze out every vote they can through intimidation, or whatever means at their disposal! We have to push harder!
Remind Senator Toomey that our State Legislature can't even figure out how to fund an annual State budget without raiding education, pensions, and the environment...or having the Commonwealth's bond rating be down-graded! Imagine how well they would manage--and fund--block grants for Medicare, for instance...what could go wrong??? Millions depend on us--let's not let them down!
